Meet baby R on day 9, the chunkiest little man we ever did see... and love... immediately.
Also, he rivaled for smiley-est newborn ever... we've had a few... but how cute is this?
We hung out and visited while he ate and cuddled... that's the way newborn sessions roll... being a baby is hard work, you know.
Little R belongs to Courtney and Rhys, whose wedding we photographed in January... so their little addition arrived before their first Christmas married... quite a year for them. It's amazing to see the babies of friends. It's amazing to watch them grow into a family. It's amazing to see the love so full and freely poured out on a new baby. It's natural and instant and beautiful. Little R's future is bright. That's for sure. He is loved and wanted, truly a gift.
